Babysitter's Training
An 8 hour course that provides individuals, ages 11 to 15, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. An optional 4 hour module is also available that allows students to gain Red Cross certification in First Aid and Infant and Child CPR.

CPR/AED/First Aid for the Lay Responder
The First Aid/CPR/AED Program is a first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training program to prepare individuals to respond to injuries and sudden illnesses that may arise at home, school or in the workplace.

CPR/AED/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer
The CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Program reflects the Guidelines 2005 protocols and incorporates AED skills. It features more hands-on skills practice and consolidated manuals. The participant's manual is not only for in-class use, but is also convenient as an on-going reference book for use on the job. The design promotes learning and helps ensure competence in the skills taught.

The Chapter offers numerous Disaster training courses on an ongoing basis throughout the year. To view a calendar showing when the classes are offered, click on "Disaster Training Calendar" in the left margin of this page under "Education and Training."
